Just very busy busy with work and thesis. But still going ok here. And to make it up, a nice purple flower from the Rocoto Red. I grow this plant for the first year and it’s a very beautiful plant. The fruit from this plant is also supposed to be very tasty so.. hopfully this flower will become a juicy chilli 
Last week I was browsing through my picture book which I made from my trip to Chile in 2007 and realized that I didn’t put the pictures online yet.

About 2 weeks ago I went for a quick walk along the Rhine, I took my camera with with the 50mm prime and tried to make some pictures. On the camera screen they looked promising however the big versions are a bit blurry. Anyway, I think they give a nice impression of the Rhine close to where I live.

Last night I woke up around 3.40 because my bed was shaking. Now is my bed not that stable so it does move when you turn around, but this felt a bit different. It couldn’t have been one of my housemates pulling a prank because they were not at home, so.. I thought.. it must have been an earthquake then and as I saw this morning I was right:

The sun was shining, and there was a nice breeze so perfect weather.

Today I took the nice and ripe penis pepper off the plant and did a photo shoot. I think this is the winner:
And I proudly present to you, my first ripe completely LED grown chili! The peter penis shape is not as I hoped for but nevertheless I think this is a cool one.

I guess these peter penis peppers really like my leds, the first one didn’t grow that much in length anymore but got a bit thicker, and the small second one you saw on earlier pics, well, look for yourself!
The ajoema plant is also going pretty good. It started making flower buds a while back but none got a real flower. I guess it’s not ready yet. But, I’m not in a hurry and just let it do its thing!
So look at that, about a week further and it is starting to look like a chili!
And some others are starting to grow as well.
